Every year on April 1st, something on-site gets a bit... weird.
Wolvden has played April Fool's jokes on its players every April 1st since before its opening! These jokes never affect the game's mechanics directly or add anything new to do. Instead, they have just changed something visually about the site to make it a bit more bizarre than usual. April Fool's Day jokes can always be turned off on your Profile page. If you're not a fan of the bit, simply check the Disable April Fool's box!
Wolvden wasn't yet released in 2019 and April 2020, but that didn't stop an April Fool's joke from being played. The developers announced that they were taking the game in a "frivolous" new direction... Moon-Moon Den! The logo on the Wolvden landing page changed to reflect this and, to this day, www.moonmoonden.com still redirects to Wolvden.

Wolvden got a bright new appearance! Every page was changed to add this very Comic-Sans layout, complete with a vibrant pink background and gradients galore.
Players in chat noticed something off this year. All text in chat was UwU-ified!
This effect applied to everybody, admins and moderators included.

All wolves got a new look with images on wolf pages being replaced with a greyscale look. This included the wolves' appearance, backgrounds, and decor.
